Public Statement-Alleged Data Leak at USE

(Kampala, 15 th June 2022) – Uganda Securities Exchange (USE/ “The Exchange”) has been made aware of allegations of a data breach from its servers; specifically allegations of the leakage of personal data from the USE Easy Portal.

Based on a comprehensive review of the security status of the Exchange’s servers and IT infrastructure, the Exchange would like to confirm that no unauthorised access of its servers or other infrastructure has been detected as at the date of this statement.

SUHL -BOOKS CLOSURE AND DIVIDENT PAYMENT

Following receipt of Shareholder approval and authorisation to take the necessary steps required to declare and effect the payment of dividends, the Board of Stanbic Uganda Holdings Ltd (SUHL) hereby declares a combined a dividend of UGX 1.95 per share to be paid in respect of the final dividend for year ended 31st December 2021 and the interim dividend for the year 2022.
